Fun Facts:
-This was Side A of a mixtape project called “Mackan/Montanini” which are the last names of two ladies who requested I make a mixtape they could bump in the car.
-The first run of this tape was actually on cassette and was the exact length of a certain brand of cassette tape that allowed for easy flip-over when one side was done. This was because the ladies who requested it didn’t have a CD player in their car.
-When demand became deafening for me to release “Mackan/Montanini” on CD, both sides were too long to fit on one disc, so it became a two-disc release.
-The artwork done for the disc was a homage to an old binder I had for years that was covered in masking tape. Friends would write on the binder, and when it got filled up with writing, I just covered it in a new layer of masking tape. This went on for about 8 years.
